Savant's main goal is to provide Chef grade provisions through old world technique that focuses on the best flavor.  Our first step into buisness is making flavor focused hot sauces for a market that is oversaturated with super spicy sauces.

Ethan is a Raleigh native and has been a Chef in the Triangle for over a decade and is a CIA alumni. Outside the kitchen he is likely smackin pickleballs or playing D&D.

Derek was born and raised in Delaware where from an early age his love for spice and flavor developed from his mother's infatuation for Mexican Food.  He pursued a batchelors of culinary arts at Walnut Hill College in philadelphia while working at spanish, tex-mex, new american and german restaurants at different times.   He spent a year living in Chicago working for Chef Grant Achatz at Next before moving to Raleigh because of the cold winters.  He continued his fine dining experience at Herons in cary for six years and Mandolin for two with over 18 years of cooking experience.
